Sustainable innovations were highlighted as way to meet evolving needs of a rapidly electrifying bus industry.

Congratulations to our bus team on a successful Busworld Brussels 2025As the only global trade show focusing solely on buses, coaches and their entire supply chain, the event brings together vehicle manufacturers body builders, suppliers, operators, transport authorities and mobility experts from around the world.

For our team, the show yielded high interest in our electric and CO2 cooling/heating solutions, S30e units, and opportunities to expand into new geographies and service partnerships. Close collaboration with OEMs and dealers is strengthening, while supplier feedback opens doors for portfolio enhancements. Sustainable innovations and strategic project discussions dominated the event—setting the stage for upcoming business wins and deeper market engagement.

“Events like Busworld drive the knowledge sharing and technology innovation needed to address the challenges reshaping passenger transport. The focus on electrification, energy efficiency, low GWP, natural refrigerants, and environmental compliance is redefining vehicle design and fleet investment decisions, and Thermo King is helping to lead this transformation,” said Urszula von Kreijfelt, Commercial Director for the Thermo King Bus business in EMEA.

Highlighted products included the Athenia MKII E Refrigerant-to-Water (R2W) Heat Pump option, the Athenia ENVI R-744 (CO2) Heat Pump for electric fleets, and the S-30-e Compact Rooftop Heat Pump unit.
