Thermo King Recognizes 2016 Dealership Excellence

Brussels, April 5, 2017 – Thermo King, a manufacturer of transport temperature control solutions for a variety of mobile applications and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, honored leading dealerships at its annual dealer conference held in Tenerife, Spain. The company recognized its top dealers from the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region for significant achievements in 2016.

The highest recognition, the 2016 EMEA Dealer of the Year, went to Frigicoll of Spain.

“Frigicoll offers a unique, growing and extensive service network of 55 workshops, which service high-demanding, top customer fleets 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,” said Karin De Bondt, vice president and general manager, Thermo King EMEA. “A Thermo King dealer since 1982, the Frigicoll group keeps to continually innovate products and services to grow the market while building extremely strong customer relationships.”

This is the third time Frigicoll has won Dealer of the Year, bringing home the honor in 2011 and 2014 as well. In 2015 they were the Trailer Dealer of the Year.

  • 2016 Bus Sales Dealer of the Year: Liberatus, Hungary

Southern States Australia was also recognized for its outstanding achievements and high level of engagement in the rail business.

All 2016 Dealer Award winners were selected for excellence and leadership in all aspects of performance, while also providing a superior customer experience. This includes customer training programs, understanding customer needs and providing the right solutions.
