Intermodal Europe 2025 stand B40 will feature the first joint presentation of Thermo King and Klinge containerized refrigeration solutions.

At this prestigious event, Thermo King will unveil the Magnum™ Eco, an advanced unit built upon the renowned Magnum™ Plus platform. This cutting-edge solution is meticulously engineered to deliver unparalleled efficiency and reliability, meeting the dynamic and ever-evolving demands of shipping lines.

The new Thermo King Magnum™ Eco refrigeration unit delivers advanced, reliable, and sustainable performance for shipping lines. Its next-generation evaporator, enhanced compressor, and electronic expansion valve support lower energy consumption, reduced maintenance, and increased efficiency. The unit is compatible with current and evolving refrigerant regulations, including readiness for R-1234yf and other low-pressure refrigerants. Marine durability, precise temperature control and compatibility with controlled atmosphere technology support energy-efficient operations and reliable cargo protection.

This year’s Intermodal Europe exhibition is the first joint presentation of Thermo King and Klinge since Trane Technologies’ acquired Klinge in 2024. Klinge manufactures specialised ISO refrigerated containers and delivers transport container solutions for a wide range of industries. Together, the Thermo King and Klinge brands offer solutions for extensive applications, spanning food, pharmaceutical and medical (including MRI transport units), electronics, military, chemical, tank containers, gas, and oil.

2025 also marks the 60^th anniversary of Thermo King genset units. More than 100,000 units have been produced and are powering refrigerated containers worldwide, underlining the company’s commitment to supporting customers on every route.
