First joint presentation with Klinge
Our Marine team closed October strong with an impressive showing at Intermodal Europe 2025, the 50th anniversary of Europe’s most prestigious exhibition and conference for the container transport and intermodal logistics industry.
“Sustainability, safety and energy efficiency are driving change in the industry, as shipping lines look for ways to optimize operations, manage costs, and reduce environmental impact while protecting cargo quality,” said Claudio Zanframundo, President Thermo King EMEA Truck, Trailer, Bus and Global Marine, Rail, Air. “We highlighted our advancements in refrigerant safety, controlled atmosphere management, energy optimization and electrification — developments that support reliable cargo protection, regulatory compliance, and reduced total cost of ownership.”
Highlights of show:
- Peter Hansen, Senior Product Manager Global Marine, spoke about innovative gas reduction strategies in the cold chain, while building effective partnerships between public and private sectors across countries.
- The unveiling of the Magnum Eco, an advanced unit built upon our reputable Magnum Plus platform. Available in 2026, the unit is compatible with current and evolving refrigerant regulations, including readiness for R-1234yf and other low-pressure refrigerants.
- The 60th anniversary of our genset units. More than 100,000 units have been produced and are powering refrigerated containers worldwide.
- This was our first joint presentation with Klinga since its acquisition in 2024, demonstrating our solution offerings for an extensive range of applications.
